Curl Confidence: Styling Your Curly Hair with Moroccan Oil Curl Products

Where are my curly people?! Ready to embrace those gorgeous curls and make them shine? I’ve got the perfect recipe for fabulous, bouncy curls using Moroccan Oil curl products. I’m here to guide you through an easy routine that will leave your curls looking and feeling their best!

Step 1: Cleanse with Love

First things first, let’s start with a clean slate. Moroccan Oil Curl Enhancing Shampoo is a dream for curly hair!

  • Shampoo Magic: This sulfate-free shampoo is enriched with argan oil, perfect for hydrating and defining your curls without weighing them down. Massage it gently into your scalp, working through the lengths of your hair.

  • Rinse: Use lukewarm water to rinse thoroughly. Hot water can strip your hair of natural oils, so keep it cool!

 
 

Step 2: Condition Like a Pro

Conditioning is non-negotiable for curly hair! Moroccan Oil Curl Enhancing Conditioner is a game-changer!!!

  • Apply Generously: Apply from mid-length to ends, focusing on any particularly dry or frizzy areas. 

  • Leave In: Let the conditioner work its magic for about 5 minutes. 

  • Detangle: Use a wide-tooth comb to detangle gently.

  • Rinse: Again, using lukewarm water, make sure you rinse thoroughly to avoid any buildup.

  • Deep Condition: Indulge your curls with my favorite deep conditioning mask, Moroccan Oil Intense Hydrating Mask. I use it once a week to replenish moisture, enhance elasticity, and revive shine. After washing your hair as usual, gently squeeze out excess water. Apply the Hydrating Mask from root to tip, then secure with a clip and cover with a shower cap. For an extra boost, wrap a towel around your head to generate natural heat. After 10-15 minutes, thoroughly rinse to reveal beautifully hydrated curls.

 
 

Step 3: Prime with the Perfect Base

Now that we’re clean and conditioned, it’s time to prep with Moroccan Oil Curl Defining Cream.

  • Pump and Apply: Depending on your hair length and thickness, pump a small amount of the cream into your hands. Apply it evenly to damp hair, doing half your head, then the other. Focus on your curls’ mid-lengths to ends.

  • Scrunch and Define: Scrunch your hair upwards to help define the curls. This cream is fantastic for enhancing your natural curl pattern while providing a soft hold.

Step 4: Style for Success

For that extra OOMPH I love so much, use the Moroccan Oil Curl Control Mousse.

  • Pump and Apply: Dispense a small amount of mousse into your hand (1-4 depending on thickness and length.) Apply it evenly through damp hair, doing half your head, then the other again.

  • Diffuse or Air Dry: For maximum volume and definition, use a diffuser attachment on your blow dryer with your head flipped upside down. If you prefer a more relaxed curl, let your hair air dry. Either way, avoid touching your hair too much to prevent frizz.

  • Do the Flip: BIGGER the better??? Flip your hair upside down after it’s fully dry, and gently shake out your curls. Use your fingers at the roots to add extra volume. This is what makes me feel the most powerful!

 
 

Step 5: Finish with a Flourish

Add MASSIVE shine and to lock in moisture, finish with Moroccan Oil Treatment.

  • A Little Goes a Long Way: Use just a drop or two of this iconic argan oil treatment. Rub it between your palms and gently apply it to your hair, focusing on the ends.

  • Final Touch: Smooth any flyaways and marvel at your stunning curls!

 
 

Extra Tips for Curly Hair Perfection

  • Hands Off: Once your curls are dry, resist the urge to touch them. The more you handle your hair, the more frizz you invite.

  • Sleep Smart: Protect your curls while you sleep by using a silk or satin pillowcase. You can also wrap your hair in a silk scarf to keep those curls intact.

  • Refresh: On non-wash days, refresh your curls with a few spritz of Moroccanoil All In One Leave in Conditioner. Scrunch to reactivate the products and bring life back to your curls.
